Paul John Oloroso is limited edition single malt Indian whisky at its finest. It is matured for three years in American ex-bourbon barrels and then “finished” in sherry casks for four years; that makes this single malt seven years old. 

Only 252 bottles of this whisky have been shipped worldwide, with 18 bottles allocated to Australia. 

Nose: Nutty and drying, with sultana and glazed cherry fruit cake, and underlying aromas of barley, banana, pineapple, vanilla and coconut macaron.  

Taste: Barley, raisin cake, cocoa and drying Oloroso. 

Finish: Sweet and drying, kind of like a sizzling sweet and sour with pineapple. The taste of barley and toasty oak, dark chocolaty notes and spices linger with vanilla. 

Overall: Complex and full of character, this single malt napalms the palate with Oloroso sherry flavours and yet the taste of barley still cuts through all the wood influence.
